Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Esteban Lesardo made the kick off and thus started the match. After a rather tough play, Cangrejillos's Teodosio Natanael got a free kick in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Lesardo in the 16th minute of play forced Cangrejillos's goalkeeper Rigoberto Gonchan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cangrejillos's Aldo Abajas got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 39 played minutes Menos Patada Que Una Pila got a freekick which was hit by Anacleto Ihintza. In the 40th match minute, Cangrejillos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Cutberto to maneuver through the defense. Esteban Lesardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Rigoberto Gonchan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Menos Patada Que Una Pila's zone, Teodosio Natanael stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximino Ourente came out of the goal and Teodosio Natanael tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Cangrejillos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Menos Patada Que Una Pila were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aldo Abajas was the one to do the kick off. Cangrejillos's Rigoberto Gonchan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Cangrejillos from getting a goal against them. When Nunez Iraido came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Menos Patada Que Una Pila fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nunez Iraido couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Menos Patada Que Una Pila eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
