In the 9th minute Jimeno Emeterio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Txindoki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Jocolí FC defense, Silvano Cordarrel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rogelio Txindoki. The Jocolí FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rogelio Txindoki should have stopped the shot. Silvano Cordarrel struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Rogelio Txindoki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gregorio. Rogelio Txindoki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimeno Emeterio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute Herminio Alonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Txindoki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Jocolí FC's zone, Jimeno Emeterio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rogelio Txindoki came out of the goal and Jimeno Emeterio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Esteban Valerio during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th minute, Esteban Valerio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rogelio Txindoki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvano Cordarrel in the 22nd minute of the match. 30 minutes into the game, Gregorio's Jimeno Emeterio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jimeno Emeterio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Txindoki having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvano Cordarrel in the 47th minute of play forced Jocolí FC's goalkeeper Rogelio Txindoki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Humberto Pirmin made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silvano Cordarrel in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rogelio Txindoki saved Jocolí FC from getting behind. After some careless play in the Jocolí FC defense, Jimeno Emeterio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rogelio Txindoki. The Jocolí FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rogelio Txindoki should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Jocolí FC's Rogelio Txindoki got control of the ball when Jimeno Emeterio tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Gregorio's Silvano Cordarrel got a free kick in the 70th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Clodoveo Egoitz during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 75 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Jocolí FC! After 87 played minutes, Gregorio's Benicio Lobo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rogelio Txindoki came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gregorio reached it. With a little luck, Jocolí FC's Rogelio Txindoki got control of the ball when Jimeno Emeterio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gregorio's Herminio Alonso got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Jocolí FC's Ramon Giro got a free kick in the 95th minute. Jimeno Emeterio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rogelio Txindoki firmly grabbed it by the left post. 97 minutes into the match Jimeno Emeterio climbed in front of goal and pressed up 0-7 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Rogelio Txindoki.
