Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Aldo Abajas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes into the game, Leo Nesor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 11thth minute of the game Fernando Damario who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cangrejillos's Rigoberto Gonchan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cecilio Gora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Rigoberto Gonchan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 13 minutes, Fernando Damario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Botafogo FR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Damario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fernando Damario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Rigoberto Gonchan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Fernando Damario's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rigoberto Gonchan was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernando Damario in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rigoberto Gonchan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 32nd minute, Teodosio Natanael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rigoberto Gonchan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Damario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Emanuel Shepherd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Botafogo FR's zone, Vicente Senio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danilo Hermelando came out of the goal and Vicente Senio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Danilo Hermelando made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Vicente Senio sent off a good shot on target. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fernando Damario stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, Botafogo FR's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Senio came free, but Danilo Hermelando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, Vicente Senio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cangrejillos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 63rd minute, Fernando Damario reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rigoberto Gonchan. The goal made the score 1-1. Rigoberto Gonchan came out and tried to block the shot, but Fernando Damario slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 92nd minute.
