La Roulette de Zizou's Benigno Cortez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo Ixidor in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Generoso Chinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hermengildo Ixidor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, AMSTEL CB's Apolo Orlanda got a free kick in the 88th minute. La Roulette de Zizou's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. Mariano Menendo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Silviano's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Mariano Menendo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Generoso Chinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AMSTEL CB's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
