After a defensive mix-up in Menos Patada Que Una Pila's zone, Humberto Pirmin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximino Ourente came out of the goal and Humberto Pirmin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pascual Sugoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jocolí FC's Pascual Sugoi in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Menos Patada Que Una Pila's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 9 minutes, Humberto Pirmin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jocolí FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Humberto Pirmin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th minute, Humberto Pirmin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jocolí FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Maximino Ourente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Pirmin in the 18th minute of play. Rogelio Txindoki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteban Lesardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Jocolí FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Esteban Valerio hit a great ball. Maximino Ourente stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Humberto Pirmin's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. In the 33rd minute, Nunez Iraido made a precise shot to the right of Rogelio Txindoki. Jocolí FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Rogelio Txindoki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteban Lesardo in the 37th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nunez Iraido got free with Rogelio Txindoki in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Esteban Lesardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Humberto Pirmin to make the kick off. Esteban Lesardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Txindoki having to interfere. A collision led to Menos Patada Que Una Pila getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Anacleto Ihintza hit a great ball. Humberto Pirmin might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maximino Ourente. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Humberto Pirmin ran back to his position shaking his head. When Esteban Lesardo came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Menos Patada Que Una Pila fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteban Lesardo couldn't finish the play. If Nunez Iraido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Esteban Lesardo in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rogelio Txindoki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 71 played minutes Jocolí FC got a freekick which was hit by Guido Bordat. After 75 played minutes, Menos Patada Que Una Pila's Froilan Goyo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rogelio Txindoki came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Menos Patada Que Una Pila reached it. Humberto Pirmin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pascual Sugoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Maximino Ourente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Pascual Sugoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jocolí FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pascual Sugoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximino Ourente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 89th minute Esteban Lesardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Txindoki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Jocolí FC's Ramon Giro got a free kick in the 90th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Jocolí FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nunez Iraido came free, but Rogelio Txindoki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jocolí FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
