Hilario Santo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braulio Gomez having to interfere. 5 minutes into the game, Magno's Hilario Santo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Braulio Gomez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Eriberto Oxel might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Braulio Gomez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eriberto Oxel ran back to his position shaking his head. Hilario Santo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braulio Gomez having to interfere. A collision led to Zeus AC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Serafino Palben hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, Hilario Santo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Zeus AC's Braulio Gomez. Braulio Gomez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 28 minutes into the game, Magno's Eriberto Oxel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Braulio Gomez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Braulio Gomez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Oxel in the 33rd minute of play. Eriberto Oxel struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Braulio Gomez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Magno. Hilario Santo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eriberto Oxel made a kick off. Abel Domeka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erubiel Cresenciano, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Braulio Gomez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Oxel in the 53rd minute of play. With his leg Braulio Gomez managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Magno's Hilario Santo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Braulio Gomez had great luck who in the 56thth minute grab hold of the ball when Eriberto Oxel from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Erubiel Cresenciano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Abel Domeka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abel Domeka didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnulfo Dino went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Leandro Kelemen's late challenge caught a Zeus AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leandro Kelemen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd minute, Hilario Santo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Magno fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Erubiel Cresenciano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zeus AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Erubiel Cresenciano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abel Domeka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hilario Santo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zeus AC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Eriberto Oxel 90 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-5. Braulio Gomez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Oxel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Zeus AC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Magno's performance. The match ended with a win for Magno.
