Godofredo Figueroa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Armando Umea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gonzalo Olayo fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Magno's protests and gave Gonzalo Olayo a yellow card for diving instead. After 8 played minutes Magno got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Olayo. Jonathan Ganix hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute of the match Anibal Maore shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abel Domeka showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Cachiñal's goalkeeper Jairo Irrintzi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Ugutz. Hilario Santo might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jairo Irrintzi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hilario Santo ran back to his position shaking his head. If Eriberto Oxel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Pedro Donostia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Cachiñal's Arsenio Cai got a free kick in the 35th minute. Eriberto Oxel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Pedro Donostia fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The supporters of Magno booed when Cachiñal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Donostia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Cachiñal defense, Hilario Santo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jairo Irrintzi. The Cachiñal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jairo Irrintzi should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eriberto Oxel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hilario Santo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Irrintzi having to interfere. Cachiñal's Jairo Irrintzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hilario Santo in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th match minute, Cachiñal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godofredo Figueroa to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Cachiñal's zone, Eriberto Oxel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jairo Irrintzi came out of the goal and Eriberto Oxel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Cachiñal defense, Eriberto Oxel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jairo Irrintzi. The Cachiñal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jairo Irrintzi should have stopped the shot. Armando Umea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the game, Armando Umea recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Abel Domeka. Armando Umea showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. Magno were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cachiñal for a fine match.
