An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Casado in the 15th minute of play forced V.D.Parque's goalkeeper Ernesto Ramone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of V.D.Parque booed when Árbol y Raíz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Alonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ernesto Ramone came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Árbol y Raíz's Bruno Quintan. But to his dismay, Bruno Quintan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Severino Oliviero charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Severino Oliviero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to V.D.Parque getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Severino Oliviero hit a great ball. Severino Oliviero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Txerran having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severino Oliviero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Árbol y Raíz's goalkeeper Nereo Txerran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 59 minutes into the game, V.D.Parque's Lino Gartzen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nereo Txerran made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 67th minute, Cristobal Casado fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ernesto Ramone, passed just outside the right post. Árbol y Raíz's German Birila couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 85th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for V.D.Parque. In the 91st minute, Bruno Quintan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mario Bela kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. V.D.Parque's Severino Oliviero got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. V.D.Parque's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
