When Anastasio Ranolfo fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zeus AC's protests and gave Anastasio Ranolfo a yellow card for diving instead. After 9 played minutes Zeus AC got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Ranolfo. Ernesto Ramone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnulfo Dino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 19 played minutes V.D.Parque got a freekick which was hit by Severino Oliviero. 26 minutes into the game, Zeus AC's Arnulfo Dino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ernesto Ramone made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Arnulfo Dino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Ramone having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Dino in the 42nd minute of play forced V.D.Parque's goalkeeper Ernesto Ramone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Erubiel Cresenciano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severino Oliviero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 2-1 became the score in the 52nd minute when Lino Gartzen elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Cristian Ospin, 57 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lino Gartzen got free with Braulio Gomez in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Braulio Gomez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lino Gartzen in the 62nd minute. With a little luck, Zeus AC's Braulio Gomez got control of the ball when Lino Gartzen tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 66th minute of the game. One of Zeus AC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of V.D.Parque:s goal. Ernesto Ramone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Dino in the 71st minute of play. If Lino Gartzen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Israel Oliverio during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of Zeus AC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of V.D.Parque:s goal. Ernesto Ramone came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Zeus AC's Erubiel Cresenciano. But to his dismay, Erubiel Cresenciano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Lino Gartzen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Braulio Gomez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Oliviero in the 96th minute of play. Severino Oliviero did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-3 to the left of a surprised Braulio Gomez 98 minutes into the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
