Jairo Irrintzi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, Zeus AC's Erubiel Cresenciano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jairo Irrintzi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anibal Maore hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Erubiel Cresenciano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Jairo Irrintzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jairo Irrintzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnulfo Dino in the 26th minute of the match. After 30 played minutes Cachiñal got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Nesto. After 33 minutes, Sergio Osorio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cachiñal and the Zeus AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cachiñal's Sergio Osorio got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 40th minute, one of Cachiñal:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cachiñal. In the 42nd minute there was a penalty for Zeus AC. Froilan Veto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jairo Irrintzi. 3-1. Erubiel Cresenciano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Jairo Irrintzi made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Arnulfo Dino made the kick off in the second half. Braulio Gomez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Umea, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 63rd minute Arnulfo Dino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Irrintzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armando Umea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armando Umea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute.
