Filomeno Saturnin didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Raquel getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Cornelio Tono hit a great ball. When Hernan Frutos came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the INDIGO CLUB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hernan Frutos couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Hernan Frutos managed to get in a good position for a shot. INDIGO CLUB's supporters rose to their feet, but Hernan Frutos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elpidio Arano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luisito Osorio scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cornelio Larpe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Hernan Frutos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Frutos in the 20th minute of play forced Raquel's goalkeeper Elpidio Arano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvio Lehen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Raquel's goalkeeper Elpidio Arano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 30 played minutes Raquel got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Vincente. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hernan Frutos in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elpidio Arano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Raquel's Elpidio Arano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Raquel from getting a goal against them. In the 37th minute of the match, Hernan Frutos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Elpidio Arano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. German Maxin's late challenge caught a Raquel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. German Maxin helped the player get up and apologised. After 43 played minutes INDIGO CLUB got a freekick which was hit by German Maxin. Cornelio Larpe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Lia in the 45th minute of the match. The supporters of INDIGO CLUB booed when Raquel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Fagildo didn't get a good kick on the ball. With 48 minutes on the clock, Elpidio Afonso commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Raquel fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 48th minute. Penalty! In the 50th minute there was a penalty for INDIGO CLUB. German Maxin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Elpidio Arano. 1-1.

The wind increased when Hernan Frutos made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eugenio Vincente during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The INDIGO CLUB fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when INDIGO CLUB's Hernan Frutos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Silvio Lehen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Arano having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Raquel's Eugenio Vincente got a free kick in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Frutos in the 65th minute of play forced Raquel's goalkeeper Elpidio Arano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 67 minutes, Leonides Ortzi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Raquel and the INDIGO CLUB players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Raquel! In the 69th minute there was a penalty for INDIGO CLUB. German Maxin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Elpidio Arano. 3-1. If Luisito Osorio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elpidio Arano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hernan Frutos's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Hernan Frutos struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Elpidio Arano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for INDIGO CLUB. Elpidio Arano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1.
