After 11 played minutes Aguante la cerveza got a freekick which was hit by Victoriano Erramu. After having played for 15 minutes, Niceto Naelio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico River Plate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niceto Naelio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Niceto Naelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Santos Iratze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafael Guillelmus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan Tino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Gorri having to interfere. Isidro Gorri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Tino in the 32nd minute of play. Niceto Naelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Club Atletico River Plate! Club Atletico River Plate:s Isidro Gorri showed great skill when he stopped Vicente Hanni:s penalty. Arnaldo Austin hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. If Victoriano Erramu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Niceto Naelio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Rafael Guillelmus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico River Plate's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafael Guillelmus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santos Iratze breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Club Atletico River Plate booed when Aguante la cerveza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Dantae didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Rafael Guillelmus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Santos Iratze. Aguante la cerveza's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafael Guillelmus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. After a defensive mix-up in Aguante la cerveza's zone, Rafael Guillelmus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santos Iratze came out of the goal and Rafael Guillelmus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
