Ciro Orlo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Nemesio Chinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alfonso Meder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfonso Meder struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Nemesio Chinto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C. A. River Plate. After some careless play in the C. A. River Plate defense, Santos Blai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristobal Peter. The C. A. River Plate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristobal Peter should have stopped the shot. Nemesio Chinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Meder in the 36th minute of play. In the 38thth minute of the game Ciro Orlo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aedes Aegyptis's Nemesio Chinto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ciro Orlo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemesio Chinto having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, C. A. River Plate's Ciro Orlo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nemesio Chinto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After a rather tough play, C. A. River Plate's Ciro Orlo got a free kick in the 51st minute. Nemesio Chinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Orlo in the 57th minute of play. After 57 minutes of play, C. A. River Plate's Ciro Orlo made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nemesio Chinto was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Ciro Orlo managed to get in a good position for a shot. C. A. River Plate's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciro Orlo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nemesio Chinto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Aedes Aegyptis fans cheered their team off the field, for while C. A. River Plate had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
