The crowd rose to their feet as Igor Kiliz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cristobal Peter. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ciro Orlo during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ciro Orlo hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Igor Kiliz in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cristobal Peter, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 10th minute, Ruperto Felo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 12th minute Igor Kiliz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Peter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind C. A. River Plate's goalkeeper Cristobal Peter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristobal Peter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ruperto Felo in the 16th minute. Igor Kiliz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bosch's Leon Bastiaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Orlo in the 24th minute of play. Zeledon Cordarrell kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. A collision led to C. A. River Plate getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Constantino Fe hit a great ball. When Bosch's Igor Kiliz in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C. A. River Plate's goalie prevented a goal. In the 34th minute, Enzo Poncio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, C. A. River Plate's Enzo Poncio got a free kick in the 35th minute. Javier Illan, 36 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Igor Kiliz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfonso Meder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Bastiaro having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ciro Orlo to make the kick off. The supporters of Bosch booed when C. A. River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeledon Cordarrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Alfonso Meder managed to get in a good position for a shot. C. A. River Plate's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfonso Meder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leon Bastiaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfonso Meder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 72 played minutes Bosch got a freekick which was hit by Arsenio Medina. In the 73rd minute of the match Constantino Fe sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leon Bastiaro skillfully saved the ball. Igor Kiliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Peter having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Igor Kiliz in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristobal Peter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristobal Peter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Igor Kiliz went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. When Ciro Orlo came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the C. A. River Plate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciro Orlo couldn't finish the play. Ciro Orlo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. C. A. River Plate's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Bosch had won, even though C. A. River Plate had held more of the ball.
