Spectators: 7123 (Terracing: 5452, Seating: 1671, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Aurelio Sugoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eduardo Cambranes kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. When Ernesto Bartuelo came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the C A Parque Patricios fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto Bartuelo couldn't finish the play. The C A Parque Patricios fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when C A Parque Patricios's Ernesto Bartuelo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 37 minutes into the game, Ernesto Bartuelo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. When Aurelio Sugoi fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C A Parque Patricios's protests and gave Aurelio Sugoi a yellow card for diving instead. After the first half C A Parque Patricios were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
