Epifanio Gaskon came out of the goal and Ramon Ted tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Colastiné FC's Epifanio Gaskon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Nikola in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th minute Maximo Nikola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Gaskon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Ramon Ted made a precise shot to the right of Epifanio Gaskon. Colastiné FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Venancio Frances fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colastiné FC's protests and gave Venancio Frances a yellow card for diving instead. Venancio Frances hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match.
