In the 30th minute, Isidro Ongile sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Perico AFC's Gregorio Hug didn't even have to move. If Alberto Vela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Perico AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 35th minute. Penalty! A collision led to Metán AFC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Celso Erramu hit a great ball. Marcelino Delfino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Etxepare in the 40th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Perico AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Vela came free, but Gregorio Hug reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobias Ongile received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Gregorio Hug tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Ongile in the 47th minute of play forced Perico AFC's goalkeeper Gregorio Hug to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Metán AFC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jose Etxepare to strike the kick off in the second half. Alberto Vela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorio Hug having to interfere. Alberto Vela struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Gregorio Hug didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Metán AFC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tobias Ongile in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gregorio Hug prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 60th play minute Alberto Vela came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gregorio Hug. 0-3. If Jose Etxepare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, Celso Erramu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tobias Ongile struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. In the 80th minute Tobias Ongile shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregorio Hug saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute of the match Vladimiro Nataniel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gregorio Hug skillfully saved the ball. In the 85th minute, Eulalio Caradaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Isidro Ongile managed to get in a good position for a shot. Metán AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidro Ongile was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregorio Hug breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Perico AFC's Gregorio Hug proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Perico AFC from getting a goal against them. 90 minutes into the match, Perico AFC's goalkeeper Gregorio Hug had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Vela. Tobias Ongile's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gregorio Hug read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jaime Cayo during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
