The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jose Etxepare recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, BOKE JUNIOR's Jacinto Bastian got control of the ball when Anacleto Tajo tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Perico AFC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Jaime Cayo hit a great ball. BOKE JUNIOR's Ramon Ted managed to work through Perico AFC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Ramon Ted dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Ramon Ted fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorio Hug having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Perico AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Maximo Nikola came free, but Gregorio Hug reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacinto Bastian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Etxepare, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Jacinto Bastian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 35 minutes into the match, BOKE JUNIOR's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Etxepare came free, but Jacinto Bastian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Perico AFC's Anacleto Tajo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacinto Bastian narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ramon Ted fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorio Hug having to interfere. After 42 played minutes BOKE JUNIOR got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Ted. When Ramon Ted came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the BOKE JUNIOR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramon Ted couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 56th minute Maximo Nikola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregorio Hug saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximo Nikola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ramon Ted's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gregorio Hug read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Arnulfo Theodore reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gregorio Hug. The goal made the score 0-1. Maximo Nikola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximo Nikola in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gregorio Hug prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jacinto Bastian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anacleto Tajo, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Perico AFC's goalkeeper Gregorio Hug had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramon Ted. A hard shot 91 in the game by Ramon Ted from a close distance when the talented Gregorio Hug managed to make a qualified save. Perico AFC's players were relieved. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximo Nikola in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gregorio Hug prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 95th minute, Maximo Nikola got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. BOKE JUNIOR played a much better game than Perico AFC and deserved their victory. The Perico AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
