With a little luck, Knights Templar's Ignacio Berdaitz got control of the ball when Marco Erdiano tried to sneak it across the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Knights Templar's goalkeeper Ignacio Berdaitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marco Erdiano. In the 11th minute, Atilano Bela reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ignacio Berdaitz. The goal made the score 1-0. 20 minutes into the match, Marco Erdiano notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Knights Templar's Ignacio Berdaitz. Ignacio Berdaitz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 23rd minute, Ruben Nazario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 25 minutes, Jimeno Gonsalvo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Reconquista F.C and the Knights Templar players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jimeno Gonsalvo kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Victorino Astigar notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Reconquista F.C's Humberto Gaskon. Humberto Gaskon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Primitivo Goito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Primitivo Goito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Knights Templar's supporters rose to their feet, but Primitivo Goito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Humberto Gaskon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Reconquista F.C's zone, Victorino Astigar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Humberto Gaskon came out of the goal and Victorino Astigar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 38 minutes into the match, Reconquista F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Victorino Astigar came free, but Humberto Gaskon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Humberto Gaskon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Astigar in the 45th minute of the match. After 45 minutes of play, Knights Templar's Victorino Astigar made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Humberto Gaskon was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Humberto Gaskon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primitivo Goito in the 51st minute of play. If Victorino Astigar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dante Phelipe was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 55 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Reconquista F.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty! In the 57th minute there was a penalty for Knights Templar. Guaberto Nastasio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Humberto Gaskon. 2-3. Marco Erdiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Ignacio Berdaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Victorino Astigar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Humberto Gaskon. Reconquista F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victorino Astigar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Victorino Astigar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Knights Templar's goalkeeper Ignacio Berdaitz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Reconquista F.C's Marco Erdiano got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jimeno Gonsalvo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Ignacio Berdaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victorino Astigar got free with Humberto Gaskon in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 97 minutes into the match, Reconquista F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Primitivo Goito came free, but Humberto Gaskon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Knights Templar's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
