In the 8thth minute of the game Anastasio Frances who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Andino Sport Club's Fausto Vito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joel Acuña came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Andino Sport Club's Geronimo Ignazio. But to his dismay, Geronimo Ignazio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Lázaro Goizeder kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Gavino Martinez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Joel Acuña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Lázaro Goizeder managed to get in a good position for a shot. Andino Sport Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Lázaro Goizeder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Acuña breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Geronimo Ignazio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Joel Acuña made a huge save. Anastasio Frances fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Vito having to interfere. In the 29th match minute, Chapelco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvio Clis to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, Marcelino Cuartio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anastasio Frances in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fausto Vito saved Andino Sport Club from getting behind. Chapelco's Anastasio Frances got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fausto Vito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelino Cuartio in the 39th minute of the match. Gavino Martinez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Gavino Martinez made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Chapelco booed when Andino Sport Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Manuelo didn't get a good kick on the ball.
