With splendid footwork Casimiro Llorenc arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-0 by the left pole in the game's 14th minute. Jesus Monico succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 20th playminute. Marcelino Cuartio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joel Acuña stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Casimiro Llorenc's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. When Unión 1907's Casimiro Llorenc in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee ignored Unión 1907's protests and gave Blas Breogan a yellow card for diving instead. Blas Breogan kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Saul Pirmin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anastasio Frances, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcelino Cuartio to make the kick off. Ruben Pinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Acuña having to interfere. Jesus Monico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Chapelco booed when Unión 1907 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Atarrabi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Casimiro Llorenc hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Saul Pirmin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelino Cuartio in the 79th minute of play. In the 92ndth minute of the game Marcelino Cuartio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Unión 1907's Saul Pirmin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Unión 1907 had won after a very even match.
