The Libertadores de S.C fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when Libertadores de S.C's Esteban Tomi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Esteban Tomi was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Esteban Tomi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 55 minutes into the game, Julian Rivero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Guaberto George was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonardo Leguizamón got free with Augusto Martxot in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Rivero in the 64th minute of play forced Libertadores de S.C's goalkeeper Guaberto George to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paolo Moise struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Guaberto George didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Géminis AC. In the 93rd minute Tiburcio Arnas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto George saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Libertadores de S.C's goal looked a bit too open when Tiburcio Arnas came free, but Guaberto George reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
