ELEGANTE CIRUJA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martin Iliana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ciro Unax took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horacio Salamon. Horacio Salamon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After the first half Sotelo were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabricio Dimo was the one to do the kick off. Horacio Salamon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciro Unax in the 53rd minute. Julio Beliran kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Dionisio Isadore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Dimo in the 56th minute of play. Horacio Salamon came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Sotelo's Ciro Unax. But to his dismay, Ciro Unax quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 62 minutes into the match, ELEGANTE CIRUJA's goalkeeper Horacio Salamon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciro Unax. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martin Iliana in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Horacio Salamon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 69th match minute, ELEGANTE CIRUJA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervasio Pasqual to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the game, Fernan Mero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Dionisio Isadore was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ciro Unax could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Horacio Salamon made a huge save. The corner led Sotelo's Ricardo Dei to fire away a dangerous shot which Horacio Salamon despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ciro Unax sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dionisio Isadore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernan Mero in the 87th minute of play. Ciro Unax fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Salamon having to interfere. Sotelo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
