The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Julian Rivero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiburcio Arnas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute, Danilo Beturian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chañar's Ruperto Leizarraga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiburcio Arnas in the 30th minute of play. Danilo Beturian struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Augusto Martxot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chañar. The supporters of Géminis AC booed when Chañar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubaldo Mantzio didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Danilo Beturian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
