If Adan Loren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th match minute, Tejas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Hever to maneuver through the defense. Géminis AC's Julian Rivero got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adan Loren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jesus Tonete's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Augusto Martxot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. The supporters of Tejas booed when Géminis AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Telo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Géminis AC's goal looked a bit too open when Jesus Tonete came free, but Augusto Martxot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adan Loren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adan Loren struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Augusto Martxot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tejas. In the 32nd minute Adan Loren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Martxot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Géminis AC's Paolo Moise got a free kick in the 37th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Julian Rivero made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Luzea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Géminis AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tejas the free kick. A collision led to Géminis AC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Rodrigo Luzea hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Géminis AC's zone, Adan Loren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augusto Martxot came out of the goal and Adan Loren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jesus Tonete got free with Augusto Martxot in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 58 minutes, Primitivo Faro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Géminis AC and the Tejas players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Géminis AC! The goalkeeper, Augusto Martxot, was totally fooled by Tejas's Ramiro Ricart, who 59 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Zeledon Maxin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Rivero in the 62nd minute of play. Tiburcio Arnas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Maxin having to interfere. If Jesus Tonete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Froilan Kaiet fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Géminis AC's protests and gave Froilan Kaiet a yellow card for diving instead. In the 72nd minute, Froilan Kaiet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 74 played minutes Tejas got a freekick which was hit by Modesto Polo. Zeledon Maxin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Rivero in the 79th minute of the match. If Tiburcio Arnas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julian Rivero took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zeledon Maxin. Zeledon Maxin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Julian Rivero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zeledon Maxin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Rivero in the 98th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
