But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bartolo Columbo couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, RedDragons. FC's Evaristo Abad got a free kick in the 6th minute. After 7 minutes, Gualterio Matthew mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chañar and the RedDragons. FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Chañar's Gualterio Matthew got a free kick in the 7th minute. With an all-out effort, RedDragons. FC's Ruperto Leizarraga threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bartolo Columbo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 16 minutes of play Chañar's Gualterio Matthew was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 17 played minutes Chañar got a freekick which was hit by Gualterio Matthew. Baltasar Tajo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Leizarraga having to interfere. Danilo Beturian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of RedDragons. FC booed when Chañar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacobo Mino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bartolo Columbo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Ruperto Leizarraga when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Fabio Montrell took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ruperto Leizarraga. Chañar's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Danilo Beturian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Danilo Beturian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Chañar's Ruperto Leizarraga got control of the ball when Casimiro Tiso tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When Danilo Beturian came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Chañar fans jumped to their feet. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Chañar's goalkeeper Ruperto Leizarraga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Bartolo Columbo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ruperto Leizarraga was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. If Bartolo Columbo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Ubaldo Mantzio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Victor Gaitano. That made the score 2-1 in the 82 minute of play. Andres Confesor charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andres Confesor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chañar's goalkeeper Ruperto Leizarraga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 90 minutes, Dionisio Emenon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RedDragons. FC and the Chañar players grew even worse after the yellow card.
