Zeledon Maxin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Unax, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee showed Ernesto Hever the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zeledon Maxin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

The audience was convinced that Martin Iliana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zeledon Maxin was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. 53 minutes into the match, Tejas's goalkeeper Zeledon Maxin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciro Unax. Zeledon Maxin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Iliana in the 60th minute of play. Zeledon Maxin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciro Unax in the 61st minute. In the 61st minute, Ciro Unax reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zeledon Maxin. The goal made the score 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesus Tonete in the 65th minute of play forced Sotelo's goalkeeper Dionisio Isadore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 67 played minutes Sotelo got a freekick which was hit by Julio Beliran. Adan Loren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Isadore having to interfere. When Ricardo Dei fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sotelo's protests and gave Ricardo Dei a yellow card for diving instead. In the 77th minute Martin Iliana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Maxin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Iliana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zeledon Maxin having to make a save. The Sotelo fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Sotelo's Martin Iliana looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 91 minutes into the match, Tejas's goalkeeper Zeledon Maxin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciro Unax. Tejas's Zeledon Maxin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Iliana in the 93rd minute of play. Sotelo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
