He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Libertadores de S.C reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Libertadores de S.C's zone, Danilo Beturian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guaberto George came out of the goal and Danilo Beturian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Danilo Beturian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Guaberto George tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruperto Leizarraga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Leguizamón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Libertadores de S.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Danilo Beturian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Andres Confesor kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. If Andres Confesor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonardo Leguizamón sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Tomi in the 46th minute of play forced Chañar's goalkeeper Ruperto Leizarraga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Esteban Tomi to strike the kick off in the second half. When Esteban Tomi got free in front of the goal in the 54th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Ruperto Leizarraga was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Lucas Piarres fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chañar's protests and gave Lucas Piarres a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th match minute, Chañar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Piarres to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, Libertadores de S.C's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Beturian came free, but Guaberto George reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anastasio Francesco charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anastasio Francesco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
