Spectators: 6406 (Terracing: 5406, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) C.A. Independiente's Nemesio Truylos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Placido Guillerme came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Pirata Cordobes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Placido Guillerme couldn't finish the play. In the 9th minute, Higinio Gitano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Carmelo Cordario managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pirata Cordobes's supporters rose to their feet, but Carmelo Cordario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pascual Hug breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 24 minutes of play, Pirata Cordobes's Carmelo Cordario made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pascual Hug was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nemesio Truylos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Javier Arotza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 32 played minutes Pirata Cordobes got a freekick which was hit by Aristides Orlin. Nemesio Truylos might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Javier Arotza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nemesio Truylos ran back to his position shaking his head.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carmelo Cordario was the one to do the kick off. Higinio Gitano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Pascual Hug tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Placido Guillerme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the game, Cristobal Tebaldo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pirata Cordobes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A. Independiente the free kick. Cristobal Tebaldo hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Javier Arotza acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 60th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Rogelio Elia. The audience was convinced that Nemesio Truylos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Javier Arotza was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. After having played for 67 minutes, Placido Guillerme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pirata Cordobes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Placido Guillerme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leonardo Weather kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. If Carmelo Cordario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arturo Nisio got free with Javier Arotza in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Javier Arotza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nemesio Truylos, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Pascual Hug came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Pirata Cordobes's Carmelo Cordario. But to his dismay, Carmelo Cordario quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Arturo Nisio charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arturo Nisio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Pirata Cordobes booed when C.A. Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Nisio didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Pirata Cordobes getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Placido Guillerme hit a great ball. Javier Arotza made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Arturo Nisio sent off a good shot on target. Cristobal Tebaldo got his second yellow card in the match during the 95th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Pirata Cordobes getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Cristobal Tebaldo hit a great ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pirata Cordobes fully deserved thier win.
