After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Nemesio Truylos managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A. Independiente's supporters rose to their feet, but Nemesio Truylos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elpidio Mannuel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arturo Nisio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Mannuel having to interfere. Elpidio Mannuel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nemesio Truylos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 30 minute of play. Emiliano Bazkoare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Independiente's Anibal Sesuldo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Elpidio Mannuel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C.A. Independiente reached it. Emiliano Bazkoare recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 89 minutes into the game, C.A. Independiente's Nemesio Truylos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elpidio Mannuel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Nemesio Truylos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Elpidio Mannuel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arturo Nisio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Mannuel having to interfere. C.A. Independiente's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
