Anier Ledesma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niceto Olayo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvio Pelagius was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Flavio Constancio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Flavio Constancio really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The supporters of La Clip FC booed when Dr Bidón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Constancio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Niceto Olayo came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the La Clip FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niceto Olayo couldn't finish the play. In the 24th match minute, La Clip FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Muc to maneuver through the defense. Anier Ledesma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Olayo in the 30th minute of play. Efrain Bernabel charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Efrain Bernabel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 30 played minutes Dr Bidón got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Bernabel. 35 minutes into the match, La Clip FC's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Constancio came free, but Silvio Pelagius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anier Ledesma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anastasio Theodore in the 39th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anastasio Theodore during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 42 played minutes La Clip FC got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Theodore. 46 minutes into the match, Dr Bidón's goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Olayo came free, but Anier Ledesma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. La Clip FC were awarded a corner in the 47th minute after Dr Bidón's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gualterio Honesto took the corner. The corner ended in Gualterio Honesto almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Dr Bidón's Anier Ledesma did a great save. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Niceto Olayo was the one to do the kick off. Silvio Pelagius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Merexildo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Primitivo Muc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gualterio Honesto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Ledesma having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Dr Bidón's goal looked a bit too open when Anastasio Theodore came free, but Anier Ledesma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute Niceto Olayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Ledesma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anastasio Theodore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Ledesma having to interfere. After having played for 65 minutes, Gualterio Honesto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Clip FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gualterio Honesto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gualterio Honesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gualterio Honesto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the match, Dr Bidón's goalkeeper Anier Ledesma had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niceto Olayo. Anier Ledesma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anastasio Theodore, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. A collision led to La Clip FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Gualterio Honesto hit a great ball. Silvio Pelagius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prudencio Gimenez in the 82nd minute of play. La Clip FC's Silvio Pelagius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Constancio in the 83rd minute of play. Anastasio Theodore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gualterio Honesto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Ledesma having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, Gualterio Honesto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anier Ledesma. Dr Bidón's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gualterio Honesto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the La Clip FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
