In the 27th minute of the match Apolo Ereinotz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fermin Otsoa skillfully saved the ball. When Humberto Endura fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tinta Calamar's protests and gave Humberto Endura a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th minute, Humberto Endura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Uriel Savier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 35 minutes, Feliberto Maura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tinta Calamar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliberto Maura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hernan Lander in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Agustin Astrada saved SaraserosFc from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in SaraserosFc's zone, Uriel Savier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agustin Astrada came out of the goal and Uriel Savier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tinta Calamar's Humberto Endura got his second yellow card of the match in the 41st minute. The referee ordered Humberto Endura off the ground. Humberto Endura kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 48 minutes into the match, Tinta Calamar's Uriel Savier broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.

The wind increased when Fulgencio Jakes made the kick off in the second half. Tinta Calamar's Feliberto Maura got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eliseo Chumo lost his temper 58 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Aureliano Flor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Fermin Otsoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fulgencio Jakes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aureliano Flor's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fermin Otsoa firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Tinta Calamar getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Baldomiro Jaunti hit a great ball. Arnulfo Matro was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 76th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 78th minute, Aureliano Flor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fulgencio Jakes was extremely unlucky when he, in the 79th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Fulgencio Jakes might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fermin Otsoa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fulgencio Jakes ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Fulgencio Jakes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fermin Otsoa. That made the score 2-2 in the 87 minute of play. If Fulgencio Jakes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Tinta Calamar's Fermin Otsoa got control of the ball when Aureliano Flor tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
