El Ceneice's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, El Ceneice's Angel Hermon got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute Uriel Savier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Herena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Lander in the 20th minute of play forced El Ceneice's goalkeeper Leonides Herena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Tinta Calamar booed when El Ceneice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Hermon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonides Herena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uriel Savier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Tinta Calamar's Uriel Savier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonides Herena narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Moises Lop fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After having played for 32 minutes, Hernan Lander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tinta Calamar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hernan Lander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Uriel Savier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enrique Ler hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute of the match Angelo Saturnin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leonides Herena showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Tinta Calamar's Uriel Savier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonides Herena narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Uriel Savier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The audience was convinced that Moises Lop's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fermin Otsoa was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Pastor Juvenal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Fermin Otsoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fermin Otsoa came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by El Ceneice's Pastor Juvenal. But to his dismay, Pastor Juvenal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Leonides Herena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Uriel Savier in the 65th minute. Tinta Calamar's Fermin Otsoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Juvenal in the 67th minute of play. If Pastor Juvenal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Tinta Calamar booed when El Ceneice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruperto Enaut didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hernan Lander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Herena having to interfere. Uriel Savier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonides Herena was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hernan Lander showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 87 minute of play. Fermin Otsoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Juvenal in the 92nd minute of play. Leonides Herena came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Tinta Calamar's Uriel Savier. But to his dismay, Uriel Savier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Humberto Endura kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The El Ceneice supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Tinta Calamar's performance. The match ended with a win for Tinta Calamar.
