The corner led Deportivo Hacha's Silverio Mendiko to fire away a dangerous shot which Matias Sauveur despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Matias Sauveur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucio Arnau in the 29th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucio Arnau in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matias Sauveur saved Basingtoke Córdoba from getting behind. Hipolito Txaran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Deportivo Hacha's Hipolito Txaran got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mauro Lizbeth could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Eugenio Tiniebra made a huge save. Matias Sauveur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hipolito Txaran, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When Iker Panpili fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Hacha's protests and gave Iker Panpili a yellow card for diving instead. Honorato Jokin hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match.
