Fidel Fernandez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mauricio Hermelando kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Desiderio Chepe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paragua FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Antonio Cristofol kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After 29 played minutes, Paragua FC's Cristo Sauveur shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carlos Maura came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Paragua FC reached it. When Antonio Cristofol fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored libertador f.c's protests and gave Antonio Cristofol a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Paragua FC booed when libertador f.c was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Cristofol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Desiderio Chepe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to libertador f.c getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Placido Maldonado hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the match, Fidel Fernandez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Maura. libertador f.c's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fidel Fernandez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After the first half Paragua FC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aquiles Izel to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, libertador f.c's goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Chepe came free, but Carlos Maura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute Desiderio Chepe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Maura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bernardo Laurgain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Fidel Fernandez got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Carlos Maura made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fidel Fernandez in the 73rd minute. With an all-out effort, Paragua FC's Carlos Maura threw himself towards the right post 79 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Desiderio Chepe, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Cristobal Obano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquiles Izel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, Paragua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Izel came free, but Cristobal Obano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, libertador f.c's goalkeeper Carlos Maura had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fidel Fernandez. In the 90th minute, Paragua FC's Bernardo Laurgain ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Carlos Maura. Carlos Maura yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. Paragua FC's Fidel Fernandez got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fidel Fernandez didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-9 via right post in the game's 96th minute. Paragua FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! The libertador f.c fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Paragua FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
