Spectators: 7224 (Terracing: 5433, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 141) Sheffield United's Herminio Estebano started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 played minutes Sheffield United got a freekick which was hit by Timoteo Merexildo. Iker Panpili charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iker Panpili the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sheffield United getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Hipolito Mannuel hit a great ball. Deportivo Hacha's Silverio Mendiko shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 21st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Hector Otsoko but with some difficulty. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucio Arnau stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hipolito Txaran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute, Iker Chorache hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Herminio Estebano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 69 minutes, Teofilo Mattin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sheffield United and the Deportivo Hacha players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Deportivo Hacha getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Iker Chorache hit a great ball. Hector Otsoko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iker Panpili in the 90th minute of play. Silverio Mendiko took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hector Otsoko. Sheffield United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Deportivo Hacha were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
