Fidel Fernandez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Elias Dei's late challenge caught a Paragua FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Paragua FC reached it. Cristobal Obano came out of the goal and Fulgencio Gaizko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paragua FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
