The player immediately received a yellow card. After 21 played minutes Sheffield United got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Abaurre. After some careless play in the Sheffield United defense, Haroldo Cesaro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hector Otsoko. The Sheffield United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hector Otsoko should have stopped the shot. When Haroldo Cesaro was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 47 minutes had been played. In the 47th match minute, Huascha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Cesaro to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Huascha were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Herminio Estebano was the one to do the kick off. When Anacleto Manilan came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Huascha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anacleto Manilan couldn't finish the play. Ricardo Froylan kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Hector Otsoko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelio Quintun, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. When Herminio Estebano came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Sheffield United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herminio Estebano couldn't finish the play. Hector Otsoko was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Ricardo Froylan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ricardo Froylan really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelio Quintun in the 87th minute of play forced Sheffield United's goalkeeper Hector Otsoko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sheffield United's zone, Ricardo Froylan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hector Otsoko came out of the goal and Ricardo Froylan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
