Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gilberto Birila started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes, Vancouver's Amadeo Lore shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Remigio Berdoi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vancouver reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Gilberto Birila managed to get in a good position for a shot. Capilla's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilberto Birila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustavo Poz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 14 minutes into the game, Capilla's Bonifacio Pedroso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gustavo Poz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Rodolfo Osorio charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodolfo Osorio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 17 played minutes Vancouver got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Osorio. A collision led to Capilla getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Gregorio Ospin hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, Capilla's goal looked a bit too open when Dionisio Rafel came free, but Remigio Berdoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raimundo Emmanuel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigio Berdoi having to interfere. Gustavo Poz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Birila in the 28th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Vancouver's Alberto Mark got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After a rather tough play, Vancouver's Osvaldo Milian got a free kick in the 34th minute. After a rather tough play, Capilla's Gregorio Ospin got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raimundo Emmanuel made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Capilla's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Emmanuel came free, but Remigio Berdoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Gilberto Birila put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gustavo Poz. Gilberto Birila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the match, Capilla's Bonifacio Pedroso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gustavo Poz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Rodolfo Osorio was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 64 minutes had been played. Rodolfo Osorio hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After 67 played minutes, Capilla's Flavio Sol shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gustavo Poz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Gregorio Ospin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vancouver's Gustavo Poz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Birila in the 82nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Vancouver's Raimundo Emmanuel got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Dionisio Rafel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Remigio Berdoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leandro Cai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigio Berdoi having to interfere. Bonifacio Pedroso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Capilla fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vancouver had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
