Braulio Boniel hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Ubaldo Gilesindo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnoldo Maura in the 21st minute. Braulio Boniel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Dacian Ghiorman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dacian Ghiorman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeo Enetz, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ivan Abadia to make the kick off. The supporters of Megadeth booed when FLORA F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilmar Diniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 57 played minutes Amadeo Enetz rounded Megadeth's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-2. Amadeo Enetz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dacian Ghiorman having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, FLORA F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Gaudencio Pes came free, but Ubaldo Gilesindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Megadeth's Dacian Ghiorman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Megadeth from getting a goal against them. Amadeo Enetz was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 73rd minute. FLORA F.C's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaudencio Pes in the 77th minute of play forced FLORA F.C's goalkeeper Ubaldo Gilesindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Braulio Boniel came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the FLORA F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Braulio Boniel couldn't finish the play. Ubaldo Gilesindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Abadia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FLORA F.C's Ubaldo Gilesindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Maura in the 94th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
