With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnulfo Lluques in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Desiderio Baraquiel saved Rangers FC from getting behind. If Herminio Abajas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herminio Abajas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Desiderio Baraquiel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Herminio Abajas scored 0-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Desiderio Baraquiel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Modesto Chale's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Desiderio Baraquiel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Calchines's goalkeeper Lino Oinatz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximo Precioso. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Lino Oinatz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Lino Oinatz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Precioso in the 39th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Arnulfo Lluques made the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 53rd minute by Herminio Abajas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 53 minutes into the match, Rangers FC's goalkeeper Desiderio Baraquiel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaac Ferman. Desiderio Baraquiel made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Herminio Abajas sent off a good shot on target. Rangers FC's Ulises Beremundo got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Desiderio Baraquiel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnulfo Lluques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabricio Raymundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Lino Oinatz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Calchines's goal looked a bit too open when Maximo Precioso came free, but Lino Oinatz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Herminio Abajas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Desiderio Baraquiel, 0-3. Lino Oinatz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabricio Raymundo in the 84th minute of the match. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rangers FC's goalkeeper Desiderio Baraquiel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Maximo Precioso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rangers FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximo Precioso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lino Oinatz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Herminio Abajas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 97thth minute, Desiderio Baraquiel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Calchines had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
