Ivan Abadia started the match with the kick off. When Gaudencio Pes came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Megadeth fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaudencio Pes couldn't finish the play. Fabio Favila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaudencio Pes in the 6th minute of the match. Club Atletico Antifa's Fabio Favila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaudencio Pes in the 23rd minute of play. Efrain Librado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Dacian Ghiorman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dacian Ghiorman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Danel, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Ivan Abadia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Favila having to interfere. Megadeth's Gaudencio Pes got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Segundo Mattin fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atletico Antifa's protests and gave Segundo Mattin a yellow card for diving instead. After 45 played minutes Club Atletico Antifa got a freekick which was hit by Segundo Mattin. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

56 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Antifa's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Abadia came free, but Fabio Favila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivan Abadia in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabio Favila saved Club Atletico Antifa from getting behind. Adrian Lobo charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrian Lobo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adrian Lobo hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Gaudencio Pes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ivan Abadia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute Ivan Abadia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Favila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaudencio Pes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Fabio Favila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
