In the 22nd minute, Vladimiro Micael got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fauzón's Arnaldo Celio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Frasco in the 24th minute of play. Arnaldo Celio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Frasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Bosteros's Alfredo Remir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeronimo Viator in the 33rd minute of play. If Jeronimo Viator had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeronimo Viator fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Remir having to interfere. Arnaldo Celio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eduardo Firmo in the 45th minute. Vladimiro Micael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Frasco made a kick off. 64 minutes into the match, Bosteros's goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Viator came free, but Alfredo Remir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
