Julian Frasco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teodoro Iliana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Alvaro Rius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Remir having to interfere. After 36 minutes, Lorenzo Txordon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Escalada FC and the Bosteros players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 36 played minutes Escalada FC got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Txordon. Lucio Arlo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Remir having to interfere. Bosteros's Alfredo Remir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Arlo in the 42nd minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, Aurelio Quilino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Escalada FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bosteros the free kick. Aurelio Quilino hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Escalada FC's Teodoro Iliana got control of the ball when Eduardo Firmo tried to sneak it across the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alvaro Rius to make the kick off. Escalada FC's Lorenzo Txordon got his second yellow card of the match in the 61st minute. The referee ordered Lorenzo Txordon off the ground. Bosteros's Carolo Porfirio suffered a concussion in the 68th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alvaro Rius during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After recieving a nice pass, Bosteros's Gaudencio Rainerio tried to score from far away in the 70th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Teodoro Iliana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Firmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Bosteros's Fermin Jaume got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bosteros's zone, Lucio Arlo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Remir came out of the goal and Lucio Arlo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Bosteros's Alfredo Remir got control of the ball when Lucio Arlo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aurelio Quilino was shown his second yellow card after 81 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Bosteros booed when Escalada FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Quilino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eduardo Firmo took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teodoro Iliana. Teodoro Iliana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Escalada FC's goalkeeper Teodoro Iliana, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bosteros's Alfredo Remir proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Bosteros from getting a goal against them. Teodoro Iliana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Firmo, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 93rd minute, Eduardo Firmo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teodoro Iliana was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
