Israel Oalo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prospero Hori in the 10th minute of the match. Israel Oalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Chorche in the 13th minute of play. After 16 played minutes, Cazón's Domingos Lopez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Israel Oalo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cazón reached it. After 19 minutes, Honorato Gabrio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guampacha AFC and the Cazón players grew even worse after the yellow card. Carlos Fernendo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Israel Oalo having to make a save. Prospero Hori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Israel Oalo having to interfere. When Arsenio Segio fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cazón's protests and gave Arsenio Segio a yellow card for diving instead. Arsenio Segio kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Prospero Hori scored 0-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Israel Oalo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Justo Jerold stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Cazón's Anastasio Hanni got a free kick in the 52nd minute. With a little luck, Guampacha AFC's Israel Oalo got control of the ball when Arsenio Segio tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victorino Urre during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Guampacha AFC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Victorino Urre hit a great ball. After having played for 66 minutes, Prospero Hori managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cazón's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prospero Hori was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cazón's Lucas Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Argider in the 69th minute of play.
