The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leonardo Paublo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of Tuyutí AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Punua:s goal. Augusto Bela shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 27 minutes into the match, Tuyutí AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Americo Micael came free, but Leonardo Paublo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Prospero Lauro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Americo Micael stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ubaldo Frutos got free with Orlando Chaime in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
