Baldomero Gorri's late challenge caught a EL REJUNTE FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baldomero Gorri helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Luque AFC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Baldomero Gorri hit a great ball. Jaime Orlondon charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaime Orlondon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jaime Orlondon kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Efrain Telmo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adriana Gartzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Pastor Monte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriana Gartzi in the 20th minute of play forced Luque AFC's goalkeeper Pastor Monte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adriana Gartzi had several of the Luque AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 22 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Pastor Monte as he didn't even see the shot coming. Adriana Gartzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Monte having to interfere. When Efrain Telmo came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the EL REJUNTE FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Efrain Telmo couldn't finish the play. Pastor Monte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriana Gartzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Pastor Monte successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. EL REJUNTE FC's Adriana Gartzi got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 43 minutes into the game, Adriana Gartzi lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Pastor Monte. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baldomero Gorri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Luque AFC booed when EL REJUNTE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florencio Eder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adolfo Sotil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Efrain Telmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adriana Gartzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Pastor Monte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pastor Monte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efrain Telmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pastor Monte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Telmo in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Edelmiro Benat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. EL REJUNTE FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Luque AFC the free kick. The supporters of Luque AFC booed when EL REJUNTE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Benat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adolfo Sotil who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Efrain Oskarbi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind EL REJUNTE FC's goalkeeper Efrain Oskarbi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 78th minute, Narciso Gartxot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 79 minutes into the match, Ruperto Cuarto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pastor Monte. Luque AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ruperto Cuarto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Pastor Monte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adriana Gartzi went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 85 minutes, Adriana Gartzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EL REJUNTE FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adriana Gartzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Adriana Gartzi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pastor Monte was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. There was no doubt that EL REJUNTE FC were the better team. EL REJUNTE FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
