Arsenio Eron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliciano Elodio having to interfere. A collision led to Tuizón getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Celestino Urre hit a great ball. Feliciano Elodio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsenio Eron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Institucion Sarmiento's Arsenio Eron got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 32 minutes, Samuel Pelagius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Institucion Sarmiento's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Pelagius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Samuel Pelagius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Feliciano Elodio was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Gilberto Fiz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gilberto Fiz really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Feliciano Elodio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arsenio Eron, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Celestino Urre stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Tuizón's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Pelagius came free, but Feliciano Elodio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 57 played minutes Tuizón got a freekick which was hit by Celestino Urre. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arsenio Eron in the 58th managed to get into a good position. Cristian Maule was slow to take the kick. During this time Institucion Sarmiento's players had a chance to rest. After having played for 64 minutes, Samuel Pelagius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Celestino Urre hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Samuel Pelagius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 94th play minutes Arsenio Eron shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Feliciano Elodio and just under the crossbar into goal.
