In the 8th minute, Roberto Peli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. La Plata's Adrian Demicoli got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Matei Șerbulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonas Salvino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florian Vazquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute Anier Baudelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Salvino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Adrian Demicoli kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonas Salvino. That made the score 1-0 in the 25 minute of play. Adrian Demicoli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Salvino having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saverio Banegas in the 33rd minute of play forced La Plata's goalkeeper Claudio Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Vencedores's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Florian Vazquez 34 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. If Anier Baudelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Saverio Banegas to make the kick off. Vinicio Santxol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Augusto Inge was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 53 minutes into the match. In the 52nd minute, one of La Plata:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for La Plata. After 55 minutes La Plata's goalkeeper Claudio Neto managed, with a little bit of luck, save Blas Tiadoro's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. In the 55th minute, Blas Tiadoro made a precise shot to the right of Claudio Neto. La Plata's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. When Adrian Demicoli came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the La Plata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrian Demicoli couldn't finish the play. If Celestino Cugat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to La Plata getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Vinicio Santxol hit a great ball. Anier Baudelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 70th minute, Adrian Demicoli made a precise shot to the right of Jonas Salvino. FC Vencedores's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. In the 73rd match minute, FC Vencedores was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Rainerio to maneuver through the defense. Matei Șerbulescu charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matei Șerbulescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, La Plata's Matei Șerbulescu got a free kick in the 75th minute. When FC Vencedores's Saverio Banegas in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Plata's goalie prevented a goal. Adrian Demicoli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Salvino having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, La Plata's Adrian Demicoli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonas Salvino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Adrian Demicoli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Demicoli in the 86th minute of play forced FC Vencedores's goalkeeper Jonas Salvino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. La Plata fully deserved thier win.
