Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. La Plata's Anier Baudelio got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabian Jaizki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florian Vazquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vinicio Santxol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Jaizki having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Vazquez in the 14th minute of play forced LIBERTY's goalkeeper Fabian Jaizki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. La Plata's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Celestino Cugat in the 15th minute. In the 16th match minute, La Plata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Demicoli to maneuver through the defense. Celestino Cugat charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celestino Cugat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Celestino Cugat kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Patricio Javiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Anier Baudelio managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Plata's supporters rose to their feet, but Anier Baudelio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabian Jaizki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 28 minutes into the game, Tiburcio Bidun threw the ball into play from the sideline. La Plata's Matei Șerbulescu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Adrian Demicoli managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Plata's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Demicoli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. If Vinicio Santxol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patricio Javiar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claudio Neto having to make a save. In the 44th minute, Lucas Arnas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claudio Neto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Vinicio Santxol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Jaizki having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florian Vazquez made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Florian Vazquez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabian Jaizki. LIBERTY's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florian Vazquez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Lucas Arnas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Claudio Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabian Jaizki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vinicio Santxol's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. The La Plata fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when La Plata's Florian Vazquez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Florian Vazquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Fabian Jaizki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Adrian Demicoli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the LIBERTY defense, Adrian Demicoli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabian Jaizki. The LIBERTY fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabian Jaizki should have stopped the shot. After having played for 73 minutes, Florian Vazquez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Plata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florian Vazquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adrian Demicoli kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. LIBERTY's Fabian Jaizki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Baudelio in the 81st minute of play. Fabian Jaizki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Demicoli, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Florian Vazquez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabian Jaizki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. La Plata walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
